Rick has a passion for serving individuals as well as businesses working diligently to provide clear, easily understood explanations of financial products and services. While developing long-term relationships, Rick’s desire is to assist his clients to continually assess their financial goals as well as the associated risks and then formulate strategies designed to pursue their individual goals.

Rick has successfully completed both the Series 7 and Series 66 registrations qualifying him to buy and sell securities. In addition, he is licensed for Life, Long Term Care Insurance as well as Annuities. Rick is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.

Rick is a native of Elm Creek, Nebraska, and spent over 30 years in the banking industry serving successful businesses and their owners prior to joining CFG Advisors in 2009. Rick and his wife Ginger have two children, daughter Lisa (Duensing) and son-in-law Brian, and their children McKenna, Boston, Preslynn, and Brayson who reside in Elkhorn. In addition, son Chris and daughter-in-law T.J. reside in Olathe, Kansas, with granddaughter Riley and grandson Turner. Rick and Ginger have been residents of Omaha since 1985. Rick has been involved in a number of service organizations through the years including CUES fundraising, Kids Can Community Center, Millard South Music Parents, Drama Boosters and Athletic Boosters, and Friendship Programs, Inc. He currently serves as treasurer of The Brian Duensing Foundation. Both Rick and Ginger are members of Three Timbers Church. In their spare time Rick and Ginger enjoy following the varied activities of their grandchildren as well as any athletic team of the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
